But really, this week has felt like a month, and I’m so happy it’s Friday. Tonight I’m heading to the Central District Art Walk with a friend I ran into recently. • Turns out January in Seattle can get even fuzzier. ’90s shoegaze cult favorites Swirlies are bringing their gloriously noisy guitars to The Vera Project on 1/13.

• L.A.B. spent years selling out shows across New Zealand and Australia before taking the operation worldwide. Now the Kiwi reggae-soul crew is heading to Nectar Lounge on 2/12 with Seven Suns.
