• PAX West is where thousands of gamers gather to celebrate new releases, indie gems, tabletop adventures, and everything in between. The original gaming convention returns to Seattle from 9/4 to 9/7, and we’re giving away a pair of 4-day badges for the occasion.*

• Tower of Power brings more than five decades of funk, soul, and impossibly tight horn arrangements to Emerald Queen Casino on 9/10. Expect classics like “What Is Hip?” and “You're Still a Young Man” delivered by a band that has spent its entire career owning the stage.

• Capitol Hill’s Bonito Cafe is getting a new location in Westlake Park, opening June 5th!  

• Speaking of Westlake Park… it has just been reopened, and it’s looking amazing! It’s complete with a small play area for kids, outdoor seating, and plenty of trees for shade, all just in time for summer!

• Yesterday, the Sound Transit Board voted to adopt an updated Sound Transit plan, keeping portions of the Ballard Link Extension while delaying the full extension to Ballard until additional funding. Read more about it here.
