Happy Fridaaaayyyy! Yesterday was the Friday-iest Thursday possibly ever, so I decided I needed a treat to start off my day. I’m currently eating a Volunteer Park Cafe brekky sandwich (IYKYK). I also got their blueberry scone (my absolutely favorite scone in the city) and an iced latte.
Guys, I have to be honest with you about something. I’m not a coffee drinker, which is basically a sin living in Seattle. I mean, I WAS, and I wish I still could be, but it just doesn’t like me. I worked at coffee shops for over 5 years, so maybe my body just decided that 4 espresso shots a day for half a decade was enough for a lifetime. So I’m writing this, drinking a split-shot latte, hoping that a single shot can sneak through my system. Please don’t kick me out of Seattle for my coffee sins!
Also, Sylvan Esso popped up in my playlist this morning, so I think it’s a sign I need to remind you that we are giving away tickets to their 2/19 show at the Paramount Theatre. Enter to win!
