Today is Indigenous Peoples’ Day – a moment to honor the cultures, resistance, and living legacies of Native communities, including the Duwamish Tribe, on whose land we live and work. We encourage you to learn, support, and show up in meaningful ways — not just today, but always.
Now, on a very different note…. Wanna get locked in a room with your smartest friend and fight your way out? We’re giving away a pair of tickets to The Escape Game – a cinematic, puzzle-soaked experience where you and your crew crack codes, dodge lasers, and (hopefully) make it out. You pick the room. You pick the date. You win.*
BEST BIKE RIDES IN SEATTLE
Fall colors, cool air, and zero excuses. Let’s ride.
Got the day off? Good. Use it. We rounded up our favorite Seattle bike routes – from leafy loops to big “wait... we're in Bellevue now?” energy. Whether you're chasing bald eagles or just trying not to fall over, there's a ride here for you.
Washington Park Arboretum Loop (1.5 miles) – Paved, peaceful, and tree-packed. Get lost in the leaves.
Elliott Bay Trail (3.4 mi) – Cruise the coast, hit the sculpture park, eat snacks, repeat.
Alki Trail (4.4 mi) – Waterfront, eagles, beach bars. You will stop for fries.
Seward Park Loop (2.6 mi) – Flat, forested, and Rainier in the distance. Classic.
