I know this newsletter is usually fun, silly, and lighthearted, celebrating the quirky things around Seattle that make us love the city so much, but today it feels important to pause and reflect on something much heavier.

Yesterday’s shooting at Bite of Seattle at the Seattle Center has left our city heartbroken. When attending a fun event with friends, family, and children, no one should have to worry about putting themselves in danger. As someone who loves going out, exploring the city, and helping you all find fun events to do, I’m at a loss for words for what happened.
