Happy October and happy Friday-eve! I’m in desperate need of a fall-flavored chai and pastry today. Maybe I’ll sneak away from my desk after writing this for a lil treat. 🤫 I’ll just say it’s “research” hehe.
Nobody really knows what Creed Bratton does. That was true at Dunder Mifflin, and honestly, it still feels true. What we do know: he’s playing Nectar Lounge on 10/3, and we’re giving away a pair of tickets. Enter to win!*
JUST ANNOUNCED
Ottawa rapper Night Lovell brings his subterranean voice and dark trap to Showbox SoDo on 11/30, closing out the month exactly as nature intended: somewhere dark with the bass turned way UP.
March in Seattle is not exactly surf weather, so Surfer Girl is bringing their own. The reggae-meets-indie-pop crew hits Hidden Hall on 3/10 with South Summit and JOBY!, bringing enough sun-soaked energy to make us forget the forecast for a few hours.
A Perfect Circle and The Cult are playing Climate Pledge Arena together on 5/30, an extremely efficient way to get several decades of brooding rock under one roof.
Nectar Lounge is getting a hip-hop history lesson. Brooklyn MC and Black Star co-founder Talib Kweli hits the stage on 1/30 with Greg Cypher, New Track City, and DJ Indica Jones.
It may be the first of the month, but we already have some shows on our Just Announced page!
