One day away from a long weekend and I am READY👏 FOR👏 IT👏! I’m heading off the grid to Winthrop for some biking, warmer weather, and of course a stop at the Mazama Store (iykyk). Don’t get me wrong, I love Seattle, but a little escape from the big city is much needed every once in a while.

Flow Fest Seattle turns Volunteer Park and Woodland Park into a glowing playground of fire dancing, flow arts, and collective whimsy from 6/12 to 6/14. We’re giving away a pair of tickets for the weekend, packed with workshops, performances, and very impressive coordination skills.*

• A Death From Above 1979 show feels less like a concert and more like a controlled demolition. The reunited Canadian duo brings its massive riffs, electronic noise, and sweat-soaked dance-rock energy to The Crocodile on 10/30 for one very loud evening.
