Hiiiii Seattle!! Big update from me: I’ve officiallyyyyy moved into my new spot. I’m sure many of you could have guessed by my content which neighborhood I’m in. To confirm the rumors, yes, I live in Capitol Hill. Shocker, I know!! I moved this past week, about 10 blocks away, so don’t worry, updates on Bait Shop and ongoings at Cal Anderson are still high on my radar.

If you haven’t checked out the Capitol Hill Guide, please do and let me know what I missed! I’m in the process of making guides for each neighborhood, and if I could live in each to fully integrate, I would, but alas, I just can’t figure out how to clone myself. Next on the list are Ballard and West Seattle. If you have any recs, reply to this email with them to help me make these guides as localized as possible!

  • New cocktail bar, ShibShib, opens June 17th in Chinatown-International District, offering an Arabic approach to cocktails and small plates. ShibShib is the first sibling bar to Cafe Suliman.

  • The city is installing exercise equipment for humans and their pets using “natural features” like stumps and logs in five Capitol Hill parks. The project will be finished by the end of July.
