Happy Tuesday, friends! Pride Weekend is almost here, but let's be honest…the city has been celebrating all month long. Whether you're part of the LGBTQ+ community or an ally, this weekend is your chance to celebrate, support, and be surrounded by soooo much joy. As a Capitol Hill resident, of course, I’ll be hitting up Pridefest here, but I’m also very excited about the parade.

I have an embarrassing thing with parades, though… they are always so cute and wholesome, usually uplifting something, and they just make me cry. People celebrating their true selves in a place where they feel welcome and loved?! I can’t help it! The tears are already forming as I write this.
