PIKE PLACE MARKET TO TEST LIMITING VEHICLES

Starting April 23, Pike Place Market PDA will begin a limited vehicle access pilot at 1st & Pike to reduce congestion during Seattle Public Utilities’ construction. The effort, in partnership with SPU, SDOT, the Mayor’s Office, and Councilmember Bob Kettle, prioritizes deliveries, ADA access, and emergency vehicles while improving the pedestrian experience. This “test and learn” pilot is a step toward a long-term street management plan for Pike Place.
